The serum goes first.

It's light and absorbs fast, carrying Tripeptide-38 — a peptide, meaning a short chain of amino acids that acts as a signal your skin already reads. With it: micromolecular hyaluronic acid, which binds water and swells, so skin looks plumper. Avocado and meadowfoam oils do the firming work.

The cream goes on top and seals it in.

Same peptide, plus a mix of eleven amino acids that mirrors the proteins skin is already built from. Then ceramides AP, NP and EOP, cholesterol and phytosphingosine — the lipid types skin makes naturally — with argan oil, shea butter, squalane, vitamin A and vitamin E.

Neither was tested on its own. They were tested as a pair, and the routine is the product.

Violet and warm argan at the center. Peach, coconut and orange to open; sandalwood, cedarwood, lily of the valley and jasmine through the middle; white musk, amber and vanilla to finish.

Worth knowing: this pair is fragranced, and the fragrance contains declared allergens — hexyl cinnamal, linalool and limonene. If you prefer no fragrance, the Sensiderm line is the better fit.

Morning and night, on clean skin. Both steps, both times.

STEP 1 — SERUM
Massage over face and neck until it's completely absorbed. Don't rush it — the cream works better going onto skin that has already taken the serum in.

STEP 2 — CREAM
Warm a small amount between your fingers, then work it in with light circular movements, from the center of your face outward and upward. Neck included.

The 30 ml serum and 50 ml cream run out at about the same time — roughly two months.

If you only have time for one step, use the cream. But the pair is what was tested.

The cream contains vitamin A. Wear sunscreen during the day — good practice generally, and especially here.

The serum contains sweet almond oil. If you have a tree nut allergy, patch test first.

Dermatologically tested. PEG-free. Free from mineral oils, petroleum derivatives, synthetic colorants, added parabens and alcohol.
