WHAT 28 DAYS LOOKED LIKE
20 women aged 60 and over used the serum and cream together on
face and neck, twice a day, for 28 consecutive days.
90% said their skin looked firmer
90% said their skin looked more compact
85% said their skin looked softer and smoother
85% said their skin looked renewed
Self-reported by participants. A small study — but a real one,
and the reason these two are sold as a pair.
The serum goes first — a mix of biomimetic peptides with
hyaluronic acid at several molecular sizes, plus avocado,
meadowfoam and sweet almond oils, panthenol, and a vitamin C
derivative.
The cream follows, and it's the richest formula
Dermophisiologique makes. A Dipeptide-5 mix, sweet almond and
argan oils, shea butter, olive oil unsaponifiables and vitamin E.
Neither was tested alone. The routine is the product.
The richest pair Dermophisiologique makes.
By your sixties, skin isn't presenting one problem. It's dryness
and lines and unevenness and a loss of firmness, all at once, and
a product built for any one of them leaves the rest untouched.
This pair is built for all of it together — and it's the only
Active Age duo where both products are loaded with plant oils
rather than ceramides. That's deliberate. Skin at this stage is
usually genuinely dry, not just dehydrated, and oils do what
water-binding ingredients can't.
Light enough to absorb fully before the cream. It carries a
Dipeptide-5 mix — peptides, meaning short chains of amino acids
that act as signals your skin already knows how to read.
Alongside them: hyaluronic acid at high, medium and low molecular
weights, so hydration sits at different levels rather than all in
one place. Sweet almond, meadowfoam and avocado oils for
suppleness. Panthenol for the barrier. And ascorbyl
tetraisopalmitate — a stable, oil-soluble form of vitamin C —
which helps skin look brighter and more even.
The richest formula in the range, and the one that seals
everything in.
Same Dipeptide-5 mix, same three-weight hyaluronic acid. Then the
nourishing layer: sweet almond oil, argan oil, shea butter,
squalane, and olive oil unsaponifiables — the fraction of olive
oil that stays behind when the rest is refined away, unusually
rich in the compounds that soften and comfort. Vitamin E is the
antioxidant.
Rich, but it isn't heavy. It absorbs rather than sitting on top.
An opening of cognac, then spiced cinnamon, oak and tonka bean,
settling into warm woods and a soft sweetness. It's the warmest
fragrance in the Active Age range.
Worth knowing: this pair is fragranced, and the fragrance
contains declared allergens — coumarin, limonene and cinnamyl
alcohol. If you prefer no fragrance at all, the Sensiderm line
is the better fit.
Dermatologically tested. PEG-free. Free from mineral oils,
petroleum derivatives, synthetic colorants, added parabens and
alcohol.
Made in Italy by Dermophisiologique, a certified B Corporation
since 2015.
Active Age Ampoules Instant Lift — for the mornings that need
extra. A fast-absorbing fluid with a tensor effect, good before
an event or when your face looks tired and drawn.
Optyma Antiage Eye Contour Cream — the eye area is thinner than
the rest of your face and the duo skips it. This is what goes
there.
